Wow! A lot has been going on lately! Hectic schedules, fun-filled (and stress-filled) events.
Gifts and worship and family and food and …
And it’s all a little crazy.
I wonder if that’s how Mary felt by the time those shepherds, still in the afterglow of the angel armies of heaven, left the manger with songs of joy.
Just … crazy. And then Mary took time to think on what she had seen and heard, and to reflect on the meaning of the angels and the shepherds and the baby in a manger. She treasured these things, and pondered them in her heart.
And so do we …

But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.
Prayer
Give us quiet moments, Lord, to ponder the meaning of your birth. Send us your Spirit, that we may treasure up all of these things and carry the wonder of your incarnation into our everyday lives. Amen.
